Goals

As a group, Citizens for Clean Air ("C4CA") is committed to ensuring that there is no plant built in the Oakville Clarkson Airshed area and that a full and proper assessment of the proposed gas plant’s impact on the environment, the community residents and others who would be exposed to its emissions.

C4CA is asking on behalf of it’s members for the following:

• Full and immediate disclosure of all information and agreements relating to the power plant, it's bidding and selection process, and the Ministerial actions that began and guided that process
• A Full Individual Environmental Assessment, to be overseen by the Ontario Ministry of The Environment.
• Genuine consideration of whether Ontario needs this plant and if it does, whether the proposed location is the best of all possible alternatives
