C4CA Community Town Hall Meeting

Please join us at 7pm on Tuesday January 11th (John Knox Christian School on Ford Drive) for a C4CA community Town Hall meeting.

On the Agenda, the new C4CA objectives.

C4CA Kiosk at Oakville Place

C4CA will be continuing our awareness campaign and membership drive at the Oakville Place mall on Sunday, August 15th (11 am-5 pm). Please stop by the C4CA kiosk, at the foot of the escalators. C4CA members will be present to answer questions; information, buttons, t-shirts and lawn signs will be available.

Liberal Michael Ignatieff will be in downtown Oakville Saturday, July 31st from 10:00-11:30 AM

This Saturday (July 31st) at Town Square in downtown Oakville, there is an opportunity to make the federal Liberals more aware of our opposition to the proposed power plant.

Michael Ignatieff will be at the square from 10:00-11:30 AM.

Bring your signs, wear your C4CA t-shirts, and buttons (additional T-shirts will be available for sale). See you there!

An Evening with Erin Brockovich

Citizens for Clean Air presents "An Evening with Erin Brockovich"

Please join us on Thursday, September 30th at 7 pm for an intimate evening of cocktails, light dinner and a talk by Erin Brockovich!

The movie, Erin Brockovich, was the true life story of our guest speaker; a file clerk that while organizing papers on a pro bono real estate case found medical records that would explode into the largest direct action lawsuit in US history.

She has since become an advocate for awareness, the truth and a person's right to know. Erin's website is www.brockovich.com and it has much information about her continual efforts to help many.

This C4CA fundraising event takes place at Appleby College in Oakville.

C4CA will be at Midnight Madness on July 16th

Several C4CA board members will be present at the C4CA booth at Midnight Madness in downtown Oakville on Friday July 16th. Drop by between 6:00 and midnight to hear about the latest developments such as: the Air Quality Task Force report and plans on spreading awareness of our key messages throughout Ontario over the summer. These include the need for a full Individual Environmental Assessment and support for the Bill 8 on Separation Distances for Natural Gas Fired Power Plants. This is a great opportunity to discuss the latest events, meet some of the board members who have been working so diligently on your behalf, and ask your questions. Bring your friends and family!
